Polypropylene cylinder molds with a 4" diameter and 8" height are typically used in the construction industry to create cylindrical concrete specimens for compressive strength testing. The molds are made of durable polypropylene material, which is lightweight and easy to clean.
To use the cylinder mold, the interior of the mold should be coated with a release agent to prevent the concrete, resin or silicone from sticking to the mold. Then, the mold should be filled with freshly mixed concrete, compacted, and smoothed off.
After the concrete, resin or silicone has cured, the cylinder can be removed from the mold.
